Sources: [Bain, “The 10 Steps to Successful M&A Integration”](https://www.bain.com/insights/10-steps-to-successful-ma-integration/), [Bain, “How Companies Got So Good at M&A”](https://www.bain.com/insights/how-companies-got-so-good-at-m-and-a/), [McKinsey, “How to win at M&A”](https://www.mckinsey.com/capabilities/people-and-organizational-performance/our-insights/the-organization-blog/how-to-win-at-ma) और [Harvard Business School, “The New M&A Playbook”](https://www.hbs.edu/faculty/Pages/item.aspx?num=39920)। First 100 days uncertainty repair CEO announcement own करता है। Finance purchase accounting own करता है। HR communications own करता है। Technology systems migration own करता है। ## Announcement बनाम integration system | सवाल | Acquisition announcement | Integration system | |---|---|---| | Value claim | हमने revenue या capability खरीदी | Value realise करने का tested path है | | Ownership | Deal team और executives | One accountable integration leader | | Customers | “No change” message | Segment plan, retention risks और service milestones | | Talent | Welcome email | Critical-role map, retention plan और decision rights | | Product | Combined roadmap promise | Architecture, sequencing और customer proof | | Systems | “Platforms integrate करेंगे” | Data map, migration owner, controls और deadline | | Synergies | Spreadsheet estimate | Baseline, owner, action, dependency और evidence | | Culture | Shared values slide | Observed decisions, incentives, rituals और leadership behaviour | | First 100 days | Communications और meetings | Stabilise, decide, protect customers और early proof | | CEO test | क्या close हुआ? | ## 100-day integration plan **Days 0–10: Stabilise.** Integration leader name करें। ** At-risk customers, critical talent, duplicate roles, key processes, data dependencies, contracts, security gaps और product commitments identify करें। Combined company कौन सा work stop करेगी? 11. Integration budget क्या है, including management time? 12. Small tuck-in को light structure चाहिए; transformational acquisition को dedicated leadership और workstreams चाहिए। Synergy baseline वह starting measurement है जिसके against improvement test होती है। Base business: customers, service quality, cash, security, critical talent और decision speed। Base engine को damage करने वाला synergy work value creation नहीं है। New logo customer outcome नहीं है। ** ## Sources - [Bain — The 10 Steps to Successful M&A Integration](https://www.bain.com/insights/10-steps-to-successful-ma-integration/) - [Bain — How Companies Got So Good at M&A](https://www.bain.com/insights/how-companies-got-so-good-at-m-and-a/) - [McKinsey — How to win at M&A](https://www.mckinsey.com/capabilities/people-and-organizational-performance/our-insights/the-organization-blog/how-to-win-at-ma) - [Harvard Business School — The New M&A Playbook](https://www.hbs.edu/faculty/Pages/item.aspx?num=39920)
